This handmade, hand painted, wheel-thrown pottery bowl is 16cm wide x 9.5cm tall.
Made from a white stoneware clay called ES10. This piece has had sodium silicate placed on the outside, once this has dried it has been stretched to cause a crackled effect. Using a red and white glaze we have a wonderful image of hot lava.

- Avoid subjecting to extreme thermal shock. Sudden transfer from hot to cold temperatures and vice versa can cause cracking
